Established in 1985 Whybird Structural and Civil is situated in Brisbane and services the local, State and National markets and has also completed several international projects.

Wholly owned by Jim Whybird – the company provides structural and civil engineering and consultancy in partnership with clients such as Evans Harch, Graystone, LEDA, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Port of Brisbane, Rubicon, ML Projects and Core Architecture.

Our network of staff collaborate to solve design challenges and embrace our corporate objective of providing outstanding specialist advice, practical design solutions and a high level of professional services with a genuine client focus.

Specialising in integrated structural and civil project design Whybird delivers impressive results for commercial and institutional clients across a diverse range of sectors of the industry including warehouses and factories, commercial commissions such as shopping centres and office building development, high density residential development, apartment buildings and combined commercial / residential developments to complete management of design for new and existing schools including work on the recent BER Schools rollout across Qld.
