The original company, now known as Whybird Structural and Civil (WSC) was established in Brisbane during 1985 and serviced the local, State and National markets, having completed several international projects.

This privately owned company provides structural and civil engineering consultancy services to other consultancies and construction organizations, such as Evans Built, Graystone, LEDA, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Port of Brisbane, Rubicon, ML Projects.

WSC’s staff collaborate to solve design challenges, embracing our corporate objective of providing outstanding specialist advice, practical design solutions and a high level of professional services with a genuine client focus.

Specialising in integrated structural and civil project design, WSC delivers impressive results for commercial and institutional clients, across a diverse range of sectors in the construction industry.

WSC projects for private, public and Government sectors include warehouses, factories, shopping centers and office building development, high density residential and combined commercial/residential developments plus new and existing schools including work on the BER Schools rollout across Queensland.
